I love my hydroponic tomato plant. It is the first plant I grew from seed and using hydroponic way to make it big. One day, I found my cherry tomato plant almost touched the ground. It must have been a heavy rain with a lot of wind to knock this plant like this.
I know that I should make a trellis or something, but I am just not so good with tools. And I am also afraid that I would hurt myself trying to bend those heavy stuff. But my tomato plant needs support or else, another wind will knock it down and it might not survived the next time.
I looked around and thinking of things I can do with all those stuff lying around in my secret garden. I already had a flat trellis that is usually used in windows. I already tied them near the wall the first time I moved the plant, hoping that it will climb it's way there. But the trellis is too vertical and the plant needs support from all sides.
I saw there is a basket from the parcel I received last year, which is quite tall. And i moved it near the plant, put some strings to support the plant, and i got myself tomato plant support :)
I know it does not look as good as you might have made. But as long as it supports the plant, it serves its purpose. What do you think about my support?
